Dating back to 1639, the White Hart Hotel retains plenty of its beautiful original period character while also offering comfortable accommodation for a cosy retreat amid beautiful Devon countryside. This Grade II listed building has recently been refurbished and now offers high standard accommodation. The hotel has been awarded 3 stars and a 77% merit rating by the AA. All of the 28 en suite rooms are comfortable and well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, flat-screen TVs and CD players. The restaurant has received an AA Rosette award for its delicious authentic local food, made using produce sourced from the surrounding region wherever possible. The hotel is also well known for its selection of local cask beers and real ales, as well as its range of malt whiskies. Located in Moretonhampstead in the heart of the Dartmoor National Park, the hotel is a superb base for walking Dartmoor and for exploring Devon.
