The Downs Babbacombe was originally built around 1850 by Isaac Singer (of Singer sewing machines). Today it offers comprehensive facilities for those wanting to stay in the Torquay area. It is biker friendly and provides a secure drying/storage area for all helmets and bike equipment. More storage areas are provided for guests with other equipment, such as golf clubs, hiking boots and fishing rods (keys available on request). Shoe polish and ironing facilities are available on request.
